The Terrace Restaurant, located on the main-house veranda, presents sophisticated Bahamian and international cuisine, accompanied by ocean views. Renovated in 2005, the hotel’s lobby displays a Great House style inspired by the islands’ colonial era. Dark-wood floors and wainscoting, French doors, and wood-paddle ceiling fans complement overstuffed chairs and deep, banquette-style, high-back couches. That style extends into the library, which contains board games, a pool table, a big-screen TV, and book-filled shelves. North Eleuthera International Airport (ELH): Visitors arriving at the airport take a taxi two minutes to a dock and then take a water taxi for a 10-minute run to Harbour Island. From there, they can take a taxi to the hotel or rent a golf cart from vendors available on the waterfront.
Governor's Harbour Airport (GHB): Approximately 40 miles to the water taxi dock. Take a water taxi for a 10-minute ride to Romora Bay Club's dock on Harbour Island. there, they can take a taxi to the hotel or rent a golf cart from vendors available on the waterfront.
Getting around The resort staff can arrange for one of the many companies on the island to deliver a rental golf cart, the preferred method of travel for both locals and visitors on the three-mile-long, half-mile-wide island. Driving is on the left side, British-style. Rental bicycles are also available. The staff can also summon taxis.
