Romora Bay Club provides sunset views from its terraced hillside a half-mile from the Atlantic Ocean. A 40-foot infinity-edge pool includes a section for children. The sandy sunbathing terrace offers cabanas and lounge chairs with views of the ocean. Dining options include an ocean-view, fine-dining restaurant and a casual waterfront restaurant/bar. Two large, raucous macaws inhabit a cage just outside the lobby, greeting guests with "hello" and "goodbye." Wireless Internet access (surcharge) is available in the open-air lobby. |

The resort offers 25 (all nonsmoking) guestrooms and suites in six, 1- and 2-story pastel buildings terraced down a tropical-garden hillside toward the Atlantic Ocean. Decor varies but includes Bahamian/tropical themes and colors. Beds feature thick mattresses and featherbeds as well as white comforters (bedspreads). Balconies and ground-floor terraces include lounge chairs. Ceiling fans supplement air conditioning.
Televisions include U.S. cable channels. Rooms offer wireless Internet access, direct-dial phones, and clock radios with MP3 docks.

Getting around - The resort staff summon taxis on request, but most visitors rent a golf cart from one of many companies on the island, which can be delivered to the hotel. This is the preferred method of travel for both locals and visitors on the 3 mile long, 0.5 mile wide island. Driving is on the left side, British-style. Rental bicycles are also available.
