The Riu Paradise is located on a 5-km (three-mile) stretch of beach. Steps lead from the sundeck down to the water. On-site amenities include a swimming pool with adjoining spa tub and a sauna and fitness center. A spa features a menu of massage and body treatments and a beauty salon is open for hair and nail care. Three conference rooms can accommodate 500 people. A daily activities program is offered and evening entertainment includes live music and theme shows. A gift shop in the resort sells handcrafted items, resort T-shirts, souvenirs, and sundries.

- Exit airport, and turn left onto Blake Rd.
- At the T-junction, turn right onto West Bay St.
- Continue as West Bay merges onto Bay St.
- Follow Bay and cross the Paradise Island Bridge (toll bridge).
- Turn right at the traffic lights.
- On the approach into the roundabout, turn left, go over two speed bumps, then go halfway around the next roundabout.
- Riu Paradise Island All Inclusive is within view.
Getting there: There is no regular shuttle service from the airport, so the easiest way to get to the hotel is by taxi. Fare is $36+ USD for the first 2 passengers and $3 USD for each additional person. Rental cars, Town Cars, and limousines are also $36+ USD. All prices are subject to change. Rental cars are available online.
Getting around: Paradise Island lacks public transportation so the easiest way to get around is on foot. Motor scooters are also popular ways to tour and rent for $36+ USD per day. Prices are subject to change without notice. Water taxis are a popular way to cross from Paradise Island to Nassau. They leave from the new bridge for return fares of $5–15 USD.
Once on the Nassau side, local buses called jitneys provide a way around for fares of less than $5 USD. All prices are subject to change without notice. Water taxis and jitneys stop running at dusk. Driving British-style (on the left) along narrow streets and through roundabouts is daunting for most visitors so if going longer distances, taxis are best.
Island-hopping is possible through Bahamas Ferries which runs catamarans to out islands including Eleuthera and Harbour Island from Potter’s Cay between the old and new Paradise Island bridges. Or visitors can travel as the locals do, on mailboats which leave for the out islands from Potter’s Cay or Prince George Wharf, but passage can run on “Bahamas time” (slowly) and cargo can include livestock. Return fares for both ferries and mailboats are $36+ USD. All prices are subject to change without notice.
Policies
Cancellation policy: If rooms are cancelled within 72 hours prior to arrival or if guests do not arrive, a one-night penalty will apply except during the Christmas and New Year period and during February and March when a three-night penalty will apply.
Pets are not allowed.
